The flourishing Distilleries of Campbeltown were once renowned as
Whisky Capital of the World until compromises of quality, in favour of quantity, curtailed demand and closed the roguish operators. Springbank are one of only two survivors, always with a view that the old ways are best, maintaining excellence through traditional techniques without a whisper of modern methodry. A full bodied dram, aged a patient eighteen years, slightly peaty, delicately smoked, offering the ample sweetness of vanilla and marzipan, coconut and almond oak.
