We process all orders immediately - Most orders are filled and shipped out the same dayWe do occasionally fall behind on despatching orders, if we have no stock on hand or if there is an abnormally large queue. It may take up to 72 hours on some ocassions to send out orders, but this is an exception. If the purchase is made before noon on any business day, and the items are in our warehouse, the shipment is sent out the same day. Some deliveries may arrive a day or two following the purchase if the destination is within Victoria, while some can take up to ten days if the address is very distant from our warehouse. If the address for delivery is within Australia, the goods are most likely to be delivered by Australia Post and can reasonably be expected to arrive within 3 to 10 working days. If you feel that your order has been unreasonably delayed, please contact us and we will be happy to track your invoice.Insurance of goods against breakage and mishapOrders can be insured in full for a fee of 1%. This is paid by the customer and is exclusive of the stated price of the product. The fee is processed automatically during checkout and is added to the total bill before being presented for payment.International deliveriesPurchases to destinations outside Australia are sold Duty Free and are subject to higher shipping and handling fees. We will not be liable for cost or inconvenience transpiring from customs restrictions, import duties and tariffs peculiar to the destination. The customer must bear all costs and burdens in relation to fees and delays resultant from international orders. We always endeavour to deliver goods purchased as promptly as is possible so that we may serve our customers againChanges of vintageVintage changes are a daily occurrence, and often come without warning. We take great efforts to provide our customers with the vintages stated on this website, however due to the nature of wine we may need to notify customers of vintage changes or substitutions before we despatch any items. In situations where the wine ordered was offered on an unspecified vintage basis, we will fill the order with the available vintage. Where a customer has been disappointed by way of a vintage substitution, we will make every effort to find an item that satisfies the client.Refunds and exchange policyIt is a commonly known fact that wines or other consumables may leave their place of production in a tainted or inferior condition. If the customer should receive a product in such condition, we ask that they contact us immediately so that we can take action. If the goods are suspected by ourselves or our suppliers to be questionable, we will make every effort to provide a replacement or a like exchange to the customer. We will not refund or re-credit where the customer has sampled the goods and decided that it was not to their taste.Old, cellared wines & spoilageOld, cellared and back vintages are sold on an "as is" basis. There is risk inherent to handling such an item and the buyer must beware. The buyer accepts all losses resultant from purchasing a stale or undrinkable vintaged item, and once these products have been purchased, we will not consider a refund. We will never offer for sale any item that we have reason to believe is of dubious quality and would immediately withdraw from sale any item that is suspected of being undrinkable or unhealthy.Out of stockIt is to be expected that our inventory or our suppliers' inventory will become unexpectedly depleted of stock items. When this occurs we reserve the right to provide a like substitute where reasonable. It is in the best interests of the customer and our business, to satisfy and ensure our clients' satisfaction. With this in mind, where appropriate we will attempt to contact the purchaser of depleted stock items to make an arrangement satisfactory to all parties.Do we collect or retain people's details? We are committed to the protection of any personal information provided to us.
