CASK 1902 Distilled in 1954 and kept in old sherry butt cask until bottling in 2002 at the age of 49 years. Colour is a rich laburnum. A nose of dark, dried fruits (prunes) with robust resins with cloves, ginger and wood. On the palate is a classic first fill sherry cask with dried fruit, clove-like spices and treacle toffee. Finish is of treacle toffee, cloves and prunes. A classic expression of a well aged first fill, Spanish oak sherry cask. Price can fluctuate and may change without notice.
