Torres has been associated with innovative vineyard management and quality driven winemaking for decades. Since they became the first in Spain to use stainless steel equipment, Torres have produced outstanding old world wines from the traditional Spanish varietals. Great significance is placed on selection of site, the altitude and microclimate of the vineyards. A mostly Tempranillo wine with a smaller portion of Cabernet Sauvignon. Cultivated in Central Penedes, inland Catalonia and many other parts of Spain, the Tempranillo berries are moderately sized, with good dark colour and a hard skin.
