Outstanding parcels of Shiraz grown to a small number of low yielding, mature vineyards, owned and operated by specialist Barossa growers, passionate in their commitment to producing distinctively regional wines of exceptional flavour, and structural elegance. Peter Lehmann's decision to establish his own winery was an act of faith in his beloved Barossa Valley, and proof of his commitment to his Barossa grape growers. Shiraz is vinified and macerated on skins for up to a fortnight, with some partial barrel fermentations. Following processing and clarification, Futures Shiraz was matured fifteen months in a selection of fine French oak hogsheads, a wine of superb mouthfeel and complexity. Alcohol 14.5%
