Reverend Elijah Craig was the complete renaissance man, baptist preacher and Kentucky entrepreneur, he is the man most credited with the establishment of Bourbon Whisky. Our reverend survived the Revolutionary War to build his Distillery in Fayette County, one of the first producers to age his liquor in charred oak casks, a unique Bourbon process which imparts distinctive reddish hues and identifiable caramelled corn flavour. Each bottle is individually hand written, an indication of the devotion and care which have made Elijah Craig the most enduring marque in American Whisky.
