Premiere Brut is dominated by the slightly larger component of Pinot Noir, finessed by the inclusion of the most superlative Chardonnay, enhanced by a tenth proportion of Pinot Meunier. Louis Roederer collates Pinot Noir from the Montagne de Reims and Valley de la Marne, with Chardonnay from the Cotes des Blanc. An assemblage of wines from a minimum of four different vintages, matured in bottle for a minimum of three years, Brut Premier includes up to 10% of Reserve wines - Cuvees from previous vintages stored for two to five years in large oak casks.
