The Cristal hallmarks are evident with each vintage, purity, precision and a unique harmony of flavours. An elite coterie of Champagnes defined by exceptional quality and enduring good taste. Following the harvest, grapes must be brought to the winery in nothing but peak condition. Cristal is made from the finest cuvee pressed, in recent times, a fifth of the wine is matured in oak while being treated to weekly battonage. The traditional Liqueur dosage, prepared from Roederer Reserve wines, contains approximately eight grams of sugar per litre, varying slightly from vintage to vintage. Cristal ages for an average of five years under cellar and rests eight months following disgorgement.
