From one of the world's greatest vineyards, the precious Climats of Mazis Chambertin sit right next door to the illustrious and historical Clos de Beze. The highly treasured parcel of Domaine Dugat-Py is somewhat younger, its vines average some seventy years of age and yield less than a hundred dozen bottles each year. Husbanded to the full complement of old world biodynamic farming techniques, a high proportion of whole bunch inclusion and open ferments infuses the intimate charm of a venerated terroir into the finished wine.
