CASK 4043 Distilled in 1972, aged in sherry hogshead and bottled in 2002 when 29 years of age. Colour is of the darkest Walnut. Peaches and a tropical fruit nose first, then followed by deep dried fruits and spicy cloves and ginger. Pervasive dark chocolate background. A rich Spanish oak character of dried fruits and deepest clove like spices. Classic Spanish oak first fill of spice and fruit that lingers and dries at the very end.
