Gossips quickly became a hit with enthusiasts who appreciate an easier drinking, fruit driven style of Cabernet Sauvignon. Gossips is enjoyed everywhere around the world by experienced wine drinkers and by those who are just starting to discover the delights of Australian Cabernet. A generously flavoured wine with fresh varietal fruit, crisp tannins and a full palate that's ready to drink upon release, Gossips have already begun attracting attention on the international show circuit after a gold medal win at the San Francisco International Wine Competition.
Cabernet Sauvignon vines simply thrive in the sandy, loamy soils of sunny Riverina. Warburn Estate's vineyards enjoy first use of water straight from the Snowy Mountains, water that's carefully controlled to produce a low yields of high quality fruit. Consistent weather patterns mean that the grapes are harvested when they are at their peak. Warburn Estate is also committed to being proactive in the management of its energy resources and reducing greenhouse emissions. The dedicated winemaking team aims to operate in an environmentally responsible manner at all times. Gossips is vinified from those parcels of Cabernet Sauvignon which can best display bright, clean varietal fruit characters and subtle tannins.

About Warburn Estate Wines
Warburn Estate's outstanding success has been achieved through it's expertise in traditional winemaking and innovative techniques
Warburn Estate is located near Griffith in New South Wales, in the centre of the large Riverina grape-growing and agricultural region. Warburn Estate is one of New South Wales most significant wine producers with more than 1000 hectares under vine, a crush capacity of 40,000 tonnes, tank storage for 35 million litres of wine and an annual turnover of $40 million. Warburn Estate proudly remains a private company, maintaining its winemaking independence with the ability to quickly respond to market demands and client needs. The company (formerly Riverina Wines Pty Ltd), is owned by the Sergi family, whose winemaking traditions began in Italy many years ago. Migrants Giuseppe and his son Antonio began to grow grapes on their farm and making wines for his family and friends using old barrels and hand made machinery. He would often sell bulk wine in 200 litre drums, a practice common in Italian cantinas, and would travel extensively throughout Australia to supply his customers. Warburn Estate»
