A rare and exceptionally fine Single Malt which has spent two and a half decades under the expert personal care of Balvenie's Malt Master. Applying skill and expertise acquired over nearly half a century in the industry, The Malt Master marries stocks aged in seasoned oak casks with Spirit matured in old fortified wine butts. The traditional oak casks give Balvenie its characteristic warm, honeyed notes, intense floral sweetness and distinct vanilla tones. Sherry casks impart a richer depth of colour, dry oakiness and superior refinement.
Silky smooth and honeyed on the nose with mellow oaky tones and hints of candied orange peel. Great depth with rich dark chocolate, hints of plum, marzipan and caramelised pear.
