Wolf Blass take aim at formulating a splendid, everyday drinking Chardonnay wine that's long on fruit and has the substance to be called upon for any occasion. Vineyards are monitored closely throughout the growing season, vintage is determined at the precise moment that fruit achieves full physiological ripeness with the highest concentration of varietal flavours. Grapes are harvested throughout the cool of night to preserve crisp flavours and crunchy acids. Following a gentle pressing, parcels are racked and briskly tank vinified. Portions are treated to malolactic, a component is matured under a mix of fine grained French oaks to soften the wine and derive added complexity.
