Ancient seas once covered these terroirs and the soils contain large quantities of mineral, essential for the unique character and peerless quality of wines. Vintages of Brunello di Montalcino date back to the 14th century, the are distinguished by their elegance, wines of outstanding concentration, rounded, voluptuous body and refined, silky tannins.
