Three generations and four decades have seen Fantinel evolve from a small family run operation into one of the Friuli region's most popular Prosecco. A delicate balance between traditional Veneto winemaking techniques and the innovative skills of Fantinel achieve a deeply flavoured effervescent wine in clean, contemporary styling. Fantinel was established in 1969 when Paron Mario, hotelier and restauranteur, acquired his first vineyards near Dolegna del Collio in Veneto, with the aim of fashioning world class wines. The estate has since become a world leader in approachable and stylish young sparkling wines as well as being one of the region's leading distillers of fine Grappa. Prosecco is harvested off vines planted to gravelly soils along the gently rolling landscapes of Veneto. Grapes are treated to a traditional Charmat vinification and bottled while the wine is young and fresh to retain the vital fruit character which makes Prosecco renowned the world over. Alcohol 11.0% Attractive pale straw yellow colour with greenish hue, a fine persistent perlage. Fruity bouquet with hints of golden apple. Delicate floral tones on the nose, a display of attractive stonefruit characters. Pleasantly soft on the palate, filling the mouth with aromatic flavours of fruit and mineral. A soft and elegant, velvety mouthfeel, lively and contemporarily styled, without equal when served alongside aperitifs and dessert, just perfect for every occasion. |
