Where do we go to find a delightful cornucopia of lightly frizzante fruit. Muscat and the Riverina? It's a no brainer, the radiant climes here are well known internationally for producing the most exquisite Moscato wines. Abundant sunshine and bountiful soils stimulate the vines to grow luscious berries with intense expressions of crunchy white grapes and juicy, fruit driven natural sugars. [yellow tail] are the experts at this style of wine.
Fruit harvested throughout the cool of night to capture the vital, peerless characters of fully ripe Moscato grapes. The best free run juices and light pressings are used to achieve softness on the palate. Following inoculation with select aromatic yeasts and the completion of ferments, [yellow tail] is cold stabilised and cold filtered to retain luscious aromas and essential freshness. The final wine is determined and assembled, followed by the addtion of a high grape juice concentrate to reduce alcohol. Yellow Tail is estate grown, vinified and bottled, ensuring that the final wine is handled to the most exacting standards from vine to the glass. Alcohol 7.5%
TASTING NOTES
Light straw yellow colour. Moscato is full of natural sweetness, displaying the bright fruit flavours of freshly crushed grapes, peaches and passionfruit with a hint of sherbet. A light fizz tingles in your mouth and highlights lively tropical fruit flavours followed by a clean and crisp finish. [yellow tail] is created with a simple philosophy in mind, to make a great wine that everyone can enjoy anytime in any place.

About Yellow Tail Winery
The Casella family has been making wine in the Riverina since 1965
Filippo and Maria Casella emigrated to Australia bringing with them their know-how acquired through three generations of grape-growing and winemaking in Italy. Recognising the potential of the region, Filippo purchased a farm in the town of Yenda, New South Wales. After selling the grapes from his farm to local wineries, he decided in 1969 that it was time for a new generation to put its winemaking skills to use, and the winery was born. Yellow Tail»
