Taylors take aim at crafting a rich and generously proportioned Chardonnay of great elegance, delicacy and finesse, by assembling components of Clare Valley and Margaret River fruit. The result is closely knit, deriving synergies while presenting the highlights of two distinct terroirs. Each parcel contributes its own charm to the finished wine, an enlightening, multi dimensional experience, achieving an intensely flavoured, complex Chardonnay wine layered with luxurious oak barrel ferment creamyness and crisp, west coast minerality.

All parcels are harvested throughout the cool of night to retain fresh varietal characters. The Margaret River component is separately vinified in chilled fermenters by one of the region's more eminent winemakers. Fruit is gently whole berry pressed to minimise phenolic extraction, followed by a course of vinification through neutral yeasts. Clare Valley components are whole bunch pressed into French oak barrels for an extravagant course of lees battonage stirring, which infuses the final wine with lovely palate richness. Batches are assembled at the Clare Valley Taylor wineworks into the essential Jaraman style, before bottling after a minimal fining and filtration. Alcohol 13.5%
