Taylors construct a Riesling that's so much greater than the sum of parts. Clare Valley has a well deserved reputation for producing world class Riesling. During ripening, the valley's climate of warm days and cool evenings create ideal conditions for producing Riesling with delicious citrus flavours and focused natural acidity. The Eden Valley with its high altitude, cool climate and thin sandy soils makes the perfect counterpoint to the intensity of Valley Clare with its restrained mineral acidity and fragrant floral aromas.

Jaraman is the fusion of two exceptional parcels of fruit from iconic wine regions, a harmonious co-existence of two distinct terroirs. Immense care is taken to ensure varietal and regional flavours from the vineyard are carried through to the bottle. Minimal intervention winemaking techniques are applied. Fruit is harvested from the Taylor Clare Valley estate vineyard and from distinguished sites in the cooler altitudes of Eden Valley. Grapes are gently whole berry pressed and cold settled into fermenters. Free run juices are racked and a relatively neutral yeast strain added. A long vinification at cooler temperatures is followed by minimal fining and filtration. Alcohol 11.5%
