Bin 389 is the Australian Grand Vin, a selection of the best parcels from the finest vineyard sites, by a winemaking team steeped in the ethos and tradition of a great Australian style. Berries that are characterised by thick skins, royal purple in colour, offering elegant flavours derived from ideal growing conditions, Cabernet Sauvignon provides the structure and palate length. Shiraz grapes, akin to small black pearls, provide the intensity, opulence and flesh. A collation of fruit from Wrattonbully and the Barossa Valley, McLaren Vale, Langhorne Creek and Robe, the final assemblage is treated to a year's maturation in a high proportion of new American oak hogsheads.
